Every year, from May to June, it is customary to celebrate the gastronomic festival dedicated to tuna. For a few days, a number of bars and restaurants prepare menus and “tapas” (“tonyi-tapes”) featuring this oily fish.
It is a good opportunity to taste culinary delights based on the local chefs’ quality and creativity, who show every year that there are many different and original ways to cook this local kind of fish. In addition, the festival participants can win prizes such as foodie experiences and invitations to activities, typically through raffles.
This festival is officially opened with the Tuna Day celebration in Plaça Catalunya, L’Hospitalet de l’lnfant, where you can taste “tonyi-tapes” prepared by all the restaurants participating in the festival. During the day, there are also workshops for children and street music. Do not miss out on the next edition!
